The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office Victim Assistance Program has an advocate co-located at the Canandaigua Police Department and the Geneva Police Department. This advocate is available to answer any questions you may have regarding the criminal justice process. If you or someone you know has been a victim/witness of a crime that occurred in the City of Canandaigua, NY or the City of Geneva, NY; please reach out to our office for additional information and resources. We can assist with orders of protection, information regarding case investigation, information regarding prosecution, court preparation, VINE notifications, claims for compensation through the Office of Victim Services, and referrals to community resources to promote healing and fulfill basic needs during challenging or uncertain times.
