The Cayuga County District Attorney's office provides assistance with Crime Victim Compensation Claims, victim counseling either in person or via telephone. We provide information and referrals to outside services such as Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault services. We provide advocacy and accompaniment to court appearance and interviews. We assist with Order of Protections. This office is able to provide services to the rural areas of Cayuga County. We also can assist with transportation. The Crime Victim Witness Coordinator reviews police reports daily and send out crime victim letters regarding services.
