The Elder Abuse Helpline for Concerned Persons at New York City Elder Abuse Center/Weill Cornell Medicine is a no-cost, non-emergency, confidential service for family, friends, neighbors and others who are aware of a NYC-residing person, 60+, who is being abused, neglected and/or financially exploited. The Helpline offers supportive counseling and information to the concerned person without judgment or expectation, including education about the dynamics and dangers of elder abuse, guidance for potential next steps, and appropriate, timely referrals. 9:00am – 5:00pm weekdays, with evenings and weekends as needed. 212-746-6905 or email helpline@nyceac.org.
