Common Justice

Launched in 2009 in partnership with the District Attorney’s Office, Common Justice offers a comprehensive, innovative response to serious crime. The trauma-informed model for victim services is designed to address victims’ short- and longer-term needs, interrupt cycles of violence, and afford victims active involvement in decision-making about appropriate and fair sentencing. The program works with those who have been harmed by eligible crimes (which include robbery and assault, but not sexual assault or domestic violence) and have been referred to us by the District Attorney's Office. Please note that Common Justice's victim service program is not open to the public; however, survivors of street violence can reach out to inquire about its support groups.
