Safe Horizon's Family Court programs provide a safe, emotionally supportive reception center for victims to wait for family court proceeding; safety assessment and planning; crisis intervention; supportive counseling; assistance in preparing a family offense petition; explanation of court process when filing for order of protection; and referrals for counseling and legal services.
