Pace Women's Justice Center

The Pace Women's Justice Center (the "PWJC") provides free legal services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. A nonprofit legal center primarily serving Westchester and Putnam Counties, PWJC helps individuals navigate the legal system and obtain legal services, including but not limited to orders of protection, custody, support, divorce, financial exploitation, and estate planning. Through outreach events and training programs we also raise awareness, educate the community, and train judges, police officers, attorneys, and social service providers on best practices when working with victims of abuse. The PWJC Walk-In Legal Clinic provides free legal consultations for one to two hours to address a myriad of legal issues including custody, child/spousal support, family offense, divorce, estate and immigration matters. The PWJC Family Law Unit by contrast provides ongoing legal representation in support, custody, family offense and divorce matters.
