The Ontario County District Attorney's Office Victim Assistance Program is the first established advocacy program in Ontario County. We are prepared to meet your needs, once you enter the criminal justice system. We provide assistance with all court related matters such as; court accompaniment, court preparation, victim impact statements, preparation for parole hearings, information on bail status and VINE information, crisis counseling, assistance with securing criminal court orders of protection, assistance with agency referrals, and supporting victim compensation initiatives. We are a comprehensive program and strive to meet the needs of every victim. Advocates are also available to assist you with family court orders of protection, and supporting crime victims as they work with law enforcement prior to an arrest being made.
