North Central Bronx Hospital
The NCB SATP program is a hospital based sexual assault treatment program in the Bronx whose mission is to provide a comprehensive continuum of care to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The focus of SATP is to respond to adolescent and adult rape victims in the Bronx community who need access to treatment in a setting that integrates medical and forensic care, mental health support, rape crisis advocacy, personal and criminal advocacy, forensic accompaniment, and coordination with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies. Patients are referred to SATP from the Emergency Department of North Central Bronx, Jacobi Medical Center and other medical centers and agency settings. SATP also provides professional community based trainings and hospital wide consultation to medical staff regarding sexual and domestic violence.
