Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc.® (LawNY®) provides free legal aid to people with civil legal problems. The OVS attorney at LawNY® provides legal assistance to victims of crime primarily for family law issues – custody, paternity, and orders of protection – but may help with other issues resulting from the criminal act, including assistance with evictions, applying for public benefits, and explanations of legal rights.
