IIB Domestic Violence Support Services provides expertise in working with foreign-national survivors of domestic violence in Erie County. IIB advocates and case managers are skilled at working with those who experience cultural and linguistic impediments to safety. IIB provides language access to those who are limited English speakers by working with interpreters who speak over 100 languages and dialects. IIB also has sub-contracts with immigration attorneys who prioritize IIB referrals for survivors who are undocumented or non-US citizens.
