URI's OVS Crime Victims Program consist of Advocates who are available to assist clients through the delivery of all identified services including safety planning, victim advocacy, crisis intervention, law enforcement and court accompaniment, public assistance advocacy and an emphasis placed on providing information and assistance on OVS compensation claims. Advocates provide information and referrals to appropriate legal, social, and mental health services to meet the needs of clients.
