The hotline is answered 24-hours a day, 365 days a year by trained domestic violence staff, providing information, referrals, as well as supportive counseling. It may be used to obtain information about, or referrals to appropriate agencies and services, or arrange for transportation in times of emergency to the domestic violence safe shelter, hospital or police department.
