St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services Forensic Examiner Program provides services within the hospital to inpatients or to those in the emergency department. Services include medical assessment, forensic examination, evidence collection, education/referrals and safety planning. Services are optional and consent is required. Forensic examiners respond to victims/survivors of sexual assault/rape, domestic/intimate partner violence, child sexual abuse, caregiver abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, physical assault, neglect/mistreatment and workplace violence.
